What it is
A pixel-art beat 'em up glued to an idle game. You fight by hand, and you keep getting stronger while you're away.
Your hero has trained every day of their life and has never had a plot. Then a studio lighting rig falls onto the beach, and they start channel-surfing through TV-show worlds: a ninja drama, a space opera, a pirate storybook and more. The villain is the Editor, who wants to cut every story short. The cast plays it straight; the world is absurd.
Back home, your base starts out as a run-down warehouse by the river. As you play, the crew turn it into a TV studio, room by room: a control booth, a wardrobe, a kitchen, a stage with an audience, and eventually a whole studio lot.
How it plays
-
Fight by hand
Combos, launchers, ki blasts and counters. Every fighter has their own moves and their own finishers.
-
Build the studio
Departments to level, a crew who take chores over, fishing, a garden, and a prize machine late in the season.
-
Time away counts
Your bench trains on the backlot and your fighter keeps farming while the game is closed. Come back to a WHILE YOU WERE AWAY card.
